Benedicta Gafah Calls for Recognition of Actors and Actresses Through Award Schemes

Ghanaian actress and film producer Benedicta Gafah has urged businesses in Ghana to support and fund movie award programs.

She believes that, just as businesses have consistently invested in the music industry over the years, the same level of support and enthusiasm should be extended to the movie industry.

Benedicta believes this will inspire movie talents to perform at their best and encourage more individuals to pursue careers in the industry.

It feels good to know that your work is being recognized and you are being nominated. People may feel that awards are nothing but It pushes you, it gingers you to work hard because you’ll feel like okay a lot of people are watching and people love me. One way or the other everyone wants to be appreciated for their effort and I think that is the same thing the people in the movie industry want.”
