Who Is Barry Odom?

Barry Odom is a the current football head coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Born on November 26, 1976, in Lawton, Oklahoma, Odom had a successful playing career from 1996–1999, playing for the University of Missouri, as a middle linebacker.

His coaching career has seen h coach Ada HS, Rock Bridge HS, Missouri, Memphis, Arkansas, and now, UNLV.

He has also held the positions of Director of Recruiting and Director of Football Operations at Missouri.

Odom was also assistant coach at the University of Missouri from 2003-2012. He later returned to the team in 2015 as Head Coach and held the position till 2019.

His time with the Missouri Tigers rounds up to 15 years, as a player, recruiter, assistant coach, and head coach.

In 2019, Odom became the new defensive coordinator for the Arkansas Razorbacks, until 2022 when he was named head coach at UNLV.

Odom has been married to his wife Tritia since July 2000, and they have three children together.
