The 2022 Ballon d’Or will be presented Monday, October 17, 2022, in Paris at 19:30 GMT marking the 66th anniversary of the ceremony, which is presented by the monthly publication France Football.

The Ballon d’Or ceremony is not currently broadcast on television. The Ballon d’Or ceremony will be streamed live on Eurosport From 08:00 to 23:00 on October 17, 2022.
The ceremony, which will be hosted live from Paris by Didier Drogba and Sandy Heribert, will begin at 2:30 p.m. ET and will also be streamed live on Paramount+.

The Ballon d’Or will also be available to watch on L’Equipe’s YouTube channel and its official website.
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have won 12 of the last 13 Ballon d’Or awards, with Real Madrid’s Luka Modric the lone exception in 2018, but Messi was not even nominated for the 2022 award.
The men’s award is expected to go to Karim Benzema, while the women’s award is expected to go to Alexia Putellas of Barcelona, with competition from England and Arsenal’s Beth Mead, among others.
