Renowned Nigerian comedian AY Makun recently sparked reactions on social media by posting a picture while reminiscing about his modest origins.

The famous comedian posted a picture on his Instagram page showing a voluptuous woman carrying a barefoot child and a bucket on her head.

AY mentioned that he had scrutinized the photo several times and would continue to do so because, to him, witnessing children without shoes evoked memories of his modest origins.

In the post, he wrote: “I have watched this picture several times and I will watch it again and again because anytime I see a child without shoes, I remember my humble beginning 😥. We all have our beginnings, don’t we? Let me just go and get ready for AY Live in Maryland on July 4th and Houston on July 6th”
