Avril Lavigne has found her forever sk8er boi. The pop-punk songstress is engaged to fellow musician Mod Sun, real name Derek Smith, after a year of dating.

The proposal, which took place in Paris, France, happened less than one week prior. The couple met while collaborating on Mod Sun’s song ”Flames” in December 2020.

After being introduced by mutual friend Machine Gun Kelly. Things look pretty serious-and Mod Sun even got Avril’s name tattooed on his neck. Mod has previously been in the limelight for his three-way relationship with Bella Thorna and YouTuber Tana Mongeau.
Mod and Lavigne are still going strong in March 2022.
Avril said at the time:”Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we’ve created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other.”
Avril Lavigne is getting everything that she wanted. The singer is set to marry her boyfriend Mod.
