Austin Wynns is an American professional baseball catcher for the Major League Baseball (MLB) Colorado Rockies.  He is the son of Jeff and Laura Wynns

Wynns went to Poway High School in Poway, California. He hit.390 as a senior in 2009, with five home runs and 37 RBIs. He was voted first team All-California Interscholastic Federation and Palomar League Player of the Year that season.

He attended Fresno State University and was picked in the tenth round in the 2013 Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles.

Wynns made his Major League Baseball debut on June 5, 2018. In 2018, he batted.255/.287/.382 in 118 plate appearances for Baltimore and.230/.288/.345 in 163 plate appearances for Norfolk.

He spent the majority of the 2019 season at Norfolk and Bowie, where he batted.266/.355/.342 with three home runs and 29 RBIs in 250 plate appearances, while only appearing in 28 games with the Orioles with 74 plate appearances.

Austin Wynns has played for the Baltimore Orioles, San Francisco Giants, and Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball.
