Audrey Stone Dimond Geisel was the second wife of author and cartoonist Dr. Seuss.

Audrey Geisel was an executive producer.
She was born on August 14, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois, United States to Norman Alfred Stone and Ruth Benson Stone.
At age 21 Geisel entered the Indiana University nursing program. It was there she met, E. Grey Dimond, a pre-med student.
They both worked at Massachusetts General Hospital until they relocated to Kansas, where their two daughters were born. They were married for 25 years.

In 1968, Audrey and Dr. Seuss married. Ted and his first wife, Helen Palmer a children’s author had an incredible union of 40 years. Ted’s marriage to Audrey brought him a second wind: 24 years and 20 books, including “The Lorax,” “You’re Only Old Once,” and “Oh, The Places You’ll Go.”I thank you so much, for these two wonderful Pops.
Audrey Geisel died at home with that blue sky and blue ocean running like a ribbon outside her bedroom window on December 19, 2018, in La Jolla, California, United States.
She was survived by her children; Lark Grey Dimond-Cates and Leagrey Dimond.
