In April, Kingston was appointed as the head coach of the Black Starlets, leading them to two victories in the 2024 WAFU Zone B U17 Championship.

Under Kingston’s guidance, the Black Starlets displayed not only impressive results but also a dominant style of play that has garnered attention. Gyan expressed his confidence in Kingston’s coaching abilities, believing he will go on to become one of Ghana’s finest coaches.

Kingston and the Black Starlets have advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament, where they will face the runners-up of Group B, which includes Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Niger, and Togo.
