Who Is Arthur Blank?
Arthur Blank is an American entrepreneur and a co-owner of the home improvement retail giant The Home Depot.
Born on September 27, 1942, Blank owns the Atlanta, Georgia sports teams – the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL and Atlanta United of the MLS.
He had bought the Atlanta Falcons in 2002 from Taylor Smith, the son of the team’s founder, Rankin M. Smith Sr.

Two years down the line, Blank purchased the Arena Football League and relocated the team to Atlanta.
However, in 2007, he tried to buy the Atlanta Braves of the MLB but lost the franchise negotiation to Liberty Media.
Blank is also known for establishing an expansion of the Major League Soccer franchise Atlanta United FC, which currently shares the Mercedes-Benz Stadium with the Falcons.
Aside from the sports teams, Blank owns a number of businesses including the nationwide PGA TOUR Superstore, three ranches in Montana, Mountain Sky Guest Ranch, West Creek Ranch and Paradise Valley Ranch; and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Blank has a net worth of approximately $7.5 billion.
