Ariel Camacho Car Accident Scene

Ariel Camacho was a rising Mexican singer who died in a car crash on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 on a highway outside Sinaloa, Mexico.

According to Billboard, Camacho, who was 22 years at the time of his death, was on the road promoting a deluxe edition of his latest album El Karma when he was involved in a highway collision.

Camacho was returning from a performance at a music festival, Carnaval de Mocorito.

He had been on tour with his group, whose name roughly translates as “the ranch’s plebeians,” promoting their album “El Karma.”

It was not immediately known what caused the accident or who was driving.

Angel Del Villar President of the Regional Mexican label was left heartbroken by the death of Camacho.

Angel Del Villar was left to rue what could have been in the career of Camacho, which was just beginning to blossom.

A sad and heartbroken Angel Del Villar said;

“My heart is broken by the loss of Ariel Camacho.”

“I knew he was going to transform the genre in Mexico and the United States. Millions of people would have become fans and would have gotten to know the man I did.”

Camacho was the lead singer of the popular norteño group Los Plebes del Rancho.
