According to sources, Wendy Williams and Sherri Shepherd were not actually friends, even though Shepherd appeared on Williams’ show as a guest host. Shepherd shared that she appreciates Williams for providing a platform for her.

“I’m so thankful to Wendy for letting me fill in for her and letting me fill the gap to support her as all the other co-hosts have also done. I’m thankful because if it wasn’t for Wendy, the eyes wouldn’t have been on me. I’m so thankful to her. We’re all still praying for her,” she said.

According to sources, all Wendy Williams’ staff was transferred to Sherri’s show.
“At the moment they are saying that the entire Wendy staff will be transferred over to Sherri’s show, but there is no way Sherri isn’t going to want to bring in her own people to replace them,” a source revealed.
