American singer/rapper and actor Nate Dogg and American rapper and actor Snoop Dogg are cousins.

They both hailed from Long Beach, California, and were part of a close-knit group of friends and collaborators that included Warren G as well.
The trio, along with others, was instrumental in shaping the West Coast hip-hop scene during the 1990s. Nate Dogg’s soulful vocals often complemented Snoop Dogg’s rapping style, and their collaborations were a defining feature of many iconic tracks from that era.

Nate Dogg was also featured notably on Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” and Eminem’s “‘Til I Collapse.” throughout addition to his cameo appearances, Nate Dogg released three studio albums and a string of moderately popular songs throughout the 1990s.
His debut solo album, “G-Funk Classics, Vol. 1 & 2,” was released in 1998 and featured a blend of hip-hop, R&B, and funk influences. Nate Dogg passed away on March 15, 2011, at the age of 41.
