Despite sharing the same last name and musical endeavors, these two talents aren’t bound by blood.

First, Paul Franklin is a renowned pedal steel guitarist recognized for his collaborations with icons like Barbara Mandrell, Kenny Chesney, and even Pink Floyd.

Hailing from Nashville, Paul made the move to Music City in 1972 to chase his musical dreams. Interestingly, he shares his musical prowess with his brother Brian Franklin, who also strums the guitar.

Now onto Larry Franklin, a maestro of the fiddle. His resume boasts partnerships with esteemed figures such as Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, and Emmylou Harris.

Larry, unlike Paul, is a member of the band “Sons of the Palomino,” where he collaborates with his namesake occasionally. Despite their shared band and music scene, there’s no familial connection between Larry and Paul.

So, while their careers intertwine in the vibrant Nashville music scene, their family trees take different routes.
