Mackenzie Dern and Wesley Santos are no longer together. Dern confirmed their split through social media. The couple got engaged in 2019 and welcomed their daughter Moa in June 2019. However, they separated in 2022.

Mackenzie Dern is a Brazilian and American professional mixed martial artist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner who is a former world No. 1 ranked IBJJF competitor and currently ranked 6th among the female divisions.

Mackenzie Dern began training by the age of three. She grew up traveling back and forth between Arizona and her father’s native Brazil. Dern is fluent in English and Portuguese.

Mackenzie Dern has won 12 World titles, from 2007 through 2012 – 7 medals at the Worlds with Gi and 5 medals at the Worlds No Gi, all before reaching black belt level.

Mackenzie Dern made her professional MMA debut in 2016 and has since amassed a record of 13 wins and 4 losses. She is currently ranked #7 in the UFC women’s strawweight rankings as of September 19, 2023.
