C.J. Moore is an American football player who currently plays in the National Football League (NFL) as a safety for the Detroit Lions. CJ Moore and AJ Moore are identical twins.

The brothers were born on December 15, 1995, in Bassfield, Mississippi. They attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) where they played college football for four years.
CJ Moore went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft but was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent.

In 2021, CJ Moore entered his second NFL season and became a more prominent player on the Lions’ defence, starting in 11 games and playing in all 17 games.
He finished the season with 62 tackles, 4 passes defended, and 1 interception. On March 18, 2023, Moore signed a two-year contract extension with the Lions.
