Apple Watts, a  36year-old reality television star was involved in a serious car accident while driving in Baker, California on March 24, 2022.

According to TMZ, her black Mercedes and a Ford F250 pickup truck collided at the time. As a result, when Watts’ car came to a stop, it flipped “multiple times” and burst into flames.

Apple Watts was then taken to the hospital for treatment of “major injuries.” Watts’ sister, Dominique Flournoy, told The Shade Room at the time that the star was unresponsive due to a fractured skull, a broken spine, and a shattered arm.

It is still unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash. Dominique provided an update on April 12, 2022, following Apple’s reportedly successful neck surgery on March 29.

She confirmed that her sister is still unable to close her right eye and will undergo surgery on April 15, 2022.

As of June 2022, Apple Watts was awake and responsive according a social media update from her sister Dominique.

“My sister is up and alert she understands and follows commands right now, she is in speech therapy so that her trachea can be removed. Therapy helps with speech and swallowing.”  “She is also in physical therapy. She’s been trying to balance herself by sitting on the edge of the bed with her feet on the floor it’s a process.”
