Anton Walkes, an English professional footballer who played for Tottenham Hotspurs, Atlanta United, Portsmouth and lastly, Charlotte FC was not married at time of death.

However, he was in a relationship with an elegant lady identified as Alexis with whom he had a daughter Ayla.
Much is not known about the professional life of his girlfriend but she was mostly seen at the stadium supporting her boyfriend.
Alexis is heartbroken following the death of her boyfriend whose sad incident occured on 19 January 2023 after a boat crash in Florida.
According to reports from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Walkes was found unconscious at the scene after two boats crashed on Wednesday afternoon near Miami Marine Stadium.

‘On January 18, 2023, at ap proximately 3:00pm, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officers responded to a two-vessel accident near the Miami Marine Stadium basin.
‘The operator of one of the vessels, Anton C. Walkes of Charlotte, North Carolina was found unconscious and transported to shore by Miami Fire Rescue where he received CPR.
‘Mr. Walkes was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. Our thoughts are with the family, friends and fans of Mr. Walkes during this difficult time.
‘This is an active investigation and there is no further information available at this time.’
Walkes began his club career with Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
He played just once for Spurs, in the League Cup after which he was loaned to Atlanta United and then to Portsmouth, who signed him permanently in July 2018.
He spent two further seasons with Portsmouth before returning to Atlanta United in January 2020.
He was signed by Charlotte FC in 2022, where he remained until his demise on 19th Jan. 2023.
