Anton Charles Walkes was an English professional footballer who played as a defender and midfielder. Walkes was born on 8 February 1997 and died on 19 January 2023, two weeks to his 26th birthday.

Walkes began his club career with Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
He played just once for Spurs, in the League Cup after which he was loaned to Atlanta United and then to Portsmouth, who signed him permanently in July 2018.

He spent two further seasons with Portsmouth before returning to Atlanta United in January 2020.

He was signed by Charlotte FC in 2022, where he remained until his demise on 19th Jan. 2023.
Walkes died after he was invloved in a boat crash in Florida.
According to reports from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Walkes was found unconscious at the scene after two boats crashed on Wednesday afternoon near Miami Marine Stadium.
Walkes received CPR from Miami Fire Rescue before being transported to hospital, but died early Thursday.
He is survived by his griflriend Alexis and daughter Ayla.
