Film director, producer, actor, and screenwriter Anthony Hickox passed away unexpectedly. He was from England. With movies like Waxwork and its follow-up, Waxwork II: Lost in Time, Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, and Warlock: The Armageddon, Hickox is best recognized for his work in the horror genre.

When he moved to Los Angeles in 1986, he began his career as a club promoter there before transitioning to writing and directing in the late 1980s. After a string of 1990s horror pictures, including the third installment of the Hellraiser series, he eventually began directing action flicks.
