Anthony Gobert is a former professional motorcycle road racer, nicknamed The Go Show. He was a rider of immense promise and talent who had his career derailed by a personal struggle with drug abuse.

Anthony is not married yet. Gobert attracted attention several times through his consumption of drugs and alcohol, for example in the 2004 US Championship. At the time, he was coming to terms with the loss of his long-term girlfriend Suni Dixon, who died in a road accident in August.

One year later, Gobert was charged with two counts of “stealing” and served time in prison.
Throughout his life, Gobert struggled with alcohol and drug abuse. In 1997, Gobert lost his ride with the Suzuki factory 500cc Grand Prix team after failing a drug test, and in more recent times, Gobert’s substance abuse led to legal problems and his becoming homeless.
