Born on June 8, 1997, in Sorel-Tracy, Beauvillier’s journey from a small Quebec town to the professional hockey arena is a testament to his talent and dedication.

Growing up in the hockey-centric culture of Quebec, Beauvillier began making his mark in the sport at a young age. His junior hockey career flourished with the Shawinigan Cataractes of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), where he showcased his skills for three seasons.

The 2014–15 season proved to be a standout period for Beauvillier, earning him recognition with a selection to the 2015 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game and a spot on the 2014–15 QMJHL Second All-Star Team.

In the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Anthony Beauvillier’s talent caught the attention of the New York Islanders, who selected him with the 28th overall pick. This marked the beginning of his professional journey, transitioning from the QMJHL to the NHL.

Despite the Cataractes falling short in the 2016 President’s Cup Final, Beauvillier’s time with the Shawinigan team was a pivotal stepping stone in his hockey career. The experience set the stage for his entry into the professional ranks with the New York Islanders.

Anthony Beauvillier’s representation of Canada on the international stage reflects his standing as a top-tier hockey player. His journey with Team Canada began at the junior level, notably with the Canada Quebec team at the 2014 World U-17 Hockey Challenge.

Elevating his international presence, Beauvillier made his senior-level debut with Team Canada at the 2018 World Championships. While the tournament did not culminate in a medal for Canada, Beauvillier’s participation highlighted his contributions to the national team.
