Ed Bass and Linda Bass are the parents of American professional baseball player, Anthony Bass. It is known that they have three other children but their identities are not known.

Anthony Brass made his major league debut on June 13, 2011, pitching a five-inning start and earning his first major league win. On December 11, 2013, he along with a player to be named later or cash considerations, was traded to the Houston Astros for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

He also made his NPB debut on March 30. 2016, and earned three wins during the 2016 Japan Series to lead the Fighters to victory in the championship series. He signed a minor league deal with the Texas Rangers in February 2017.
Bass signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs on December 20, 2017. He also signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds on December 20, 2018.
He went on to play for several teams afterwards. Some of these teams include Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blues, and more.
