Anthony Apostolico, owner at Italian Food Center, has been identified as the pickup truck passenger who lost his life in the tragic freak accident which occurred on a parkway in New York’s northern suburbs.

The accident occurred in the northbound lanes of the Palisades Parkway near Exit 16 in Stony Point, Rockland County, New York, at about 4 p.m. Sunday, afternoon.
According to reports, a tree fell on top of a truck that was moving on the Palisades Parkway on Father’s Day and Juneteenth, Sunday, June 19, slicing through a red pickup truck with three passengers inside.
Anthony Apostolico was the front-seat passenger and according to the New York State Police, he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the pickup vehicle, who is yet to be identified, was flown to Westchester Medical Center by helicopter.

As at the time of writing, the extent of the driver’s injuries is yet to be determined. Another casualty, the back-seat passenger was carried by EMS to Westchester Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
