Annika Sörenstam Children: Meet Ava Madelyn and William Nicholas McGee

Annika Sörenstam is a Swedish former professional golfer. Annika Sörenstam and her husband Mike McGee have two kids Ava Madelyn and William Nicholas McGee.

Ava Madelyn McGee, their daughter, was born on September 1, 2009. Sörenstam gave birth to a son, William Nicholas McGee, thirteen weeks early on March 21, 2011.

The birth of their son William Nicholas McGee, was a trying time for the young couple, who had anticipated the worst in the early hours of March 21, 2011.

By his own admission, her husband McGee was scared of losing his son while driving to the hospital. “I drove fast and it was like a blur,” Mike once told while recalling the incident.

“We weren’t sure what had happened and were scared that we may have lost our son.”

Will who is currently 11 years old plays on the Space Coast Tour for kids and hopes to play at Stanford one day. He also made headlines when he aced the fifth hole of a par-3 course at Pinehurst, where his mother Annika Sorenstam was competing in the US Women’s Open.

While their daughter  Ava hasn’t shown any indications of golfing, she was on hand outside the ropes for the 2022 PNC Championship.
