Anil Joshiyara was elected to the Gujarat Legislative Assembly from Bhiloda in the 1995 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election as a member of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Anil Joshiyara was sworn as Cabinet Minister for Health & Family Welfare of Gujarat in 1996.
Anil Joshiyara was serving as a Member of Legislative Assembly from Bhiloda constituency in the Aravalli district, Gujarat for its 14th Legislative assembly representing Indian National Congress.
Anil Joshiyara died from post COVID-19 complications in Chennai on 14 March 2022, at the age of 68.

Anil Joshiyara had contracted coronavirus in January and was shifted from a private hospital in Ahmedabad to the Tamil Nadu capital a month ago for advanced treatment of the lungs.
Anil Joshiyara, a surgeon, was first elected as an MLA from Bhiloda seat in 1995 on a BJP ticket and had served as health minister between 1996 and 1997 in a government headed by Shankersinh Vaghela.
Anil Joshiyara was married. However, it appears that his wife’s identity has not been made public.
