Angelique Smith is the mother of late American rapper, Nipsey Hussle.

She is American by nationality but she has African roots. She had given birth to Hussle in 1985 and had raised him in line with the American culture.

At his funeral, she gave a powerful speech about him, calling him strong and intelligent.

Smith got married to Dawit Asghedom, an Eritrean immigrant.

Smith has three children, Nipsey Hussle, Samiel Asghedom, and Samantha Smith. She also has three grandchildren – Kross Ermias Asghedom, and Emani Asghedom.

Nipsey Hussle is an American rapper, a Grammy winner and a successful entrepreneur.

He established the record label All Money In, which he had released with “The Marathon,” his fifth official mixtape.

Hussle was shot dead on March 31, 2019. He was 33.

One Eric Ronald Holder Jr. was recently charged with first-degree murder of Hussle.

Eric had fatally shot the rapper close to his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles.

Eric is set to be sentenced later in September.
