His marital status as of this writing is unknown. He keeps his personal life private. Toles attended the University of Tennessee and Chipola College

Andrew Toles was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the third round of the 2012 MLB Draft and remained there until 2015.  He signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers after the 2015 season and made his major league debut in 2016.

He hit his first home run against Josh Smith of the Cincinnati Reds on August 22, 2016. On August 31, he blasted his first grand slam against Colorado Rockies pitcher Adam Ottavino.

Toles concluded the season with a.314 batting average in 48 games, three home runs, and 16 RBIs.  In 22 postseason at bats, he batted.364.

Unfortunately, Toles’ MLB career was relatively short-lived due to personal and mental health challenges. He battled anxiety and other issues that affected his ability to consistently play at the major league level. He played his last MLB game in 2018.

The Dodgers have signed Toles to contracts every season from 2018 in order for him to have access to the team’s health insurance as of 2023. The contracts are non-salary, and Toles is placed on the restricted list for the whole season.
