South African cricket player David Miller was born on June 10th, 1989. He typically starts in the middle of the order and is a left-handed batter by trade. Known for his power-hitting, David Miller earned himself the nickname ‘Killer Miller.’

At the age of 17, he made his debut for the Dolphins but had an unimpressive season with the bat. Nevertheless, he was able to improve during the 2009–10 campaign. He was called up to the South Africa A team as a result, where he effectively maintained his form.

He received his first national call-up as a result of his steady play, and in May 2010 he played against the West Indies in his T20I debut. A few of days later, he played against the same opposition in his first ODI.
