Born in Florence in 1938, Andrea Branzi is an architect and designer who currently resides and works in Milan.
He was a collaborator in the internationally renowned first vanguard group Archizoom Associati from 1964 to 1974. The group’s works are conserved at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Centro Studi e Archivio della Comunicazione in Parma.

He helped develop the first international postgraduate design school, Domus Academy. Since 1967, he has worked in the sectors of architecture, urban planning, industrial and research design, education, and cultural promotion.

He was awarded the Compasso d’Oro for his career in 1987. He teaches at Politecnico di Milano’s Third Faculty of Architecture and Industrial Design.
