The sad news was confirmed by the band through a post on their official Instagram account. The wake for the beloved musician will be held on Sunday, April 28th, 2024, in Rio de Janeiro.

Throughout his journey, he faced various health challenges, including a pulmonary embolism that led to his hospitalization in September 2023.

The singer’s condition took a turn for the worse in April 2024, leading to his hospitalization in the intensive care unit. Despite efforts to stabilize his health, Anderson’s battle with cancer ultimately came to an end.
