Amy Carter is the daughter of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and late Rosalyn Carter. Carter.
She had stepped her foot into the White House for the first time at age nine when her father became president.

Born on October 19, 1967, Amy attended Brown University, but eventually graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (BFA) from the Memphis College of Arts.

Amy later bagged her master’s degree in art history from Tulane University. She lived in the White House for four years with her family.
Amy is a political activist Carter known to have led protests against apartheid during the 1980s and early 1990s.
Amy is also the illustrator behind The Little Baby Snoogle-Fleejer, a children’s book written by her father in 1995.
She is married to John Joseph “Jay” Kelly and has a son named Hugo James Wentzel.
