Social media influencer Amir Tataloo was arrested in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2020, over allegations of encouraging young people in the country to use hard drugs and for promoting corruption.

Who Is Amir Tataloo?
Amir is an Iranian rapper, who gained popularity in the Iranian music industry in the early 2000s.
Born on September 21, 1987, in Tehran, Iran, Amir started his career in 2003, and quickly gained a large following among the youth in and across Iran.

Amir is notable for his energetic performances and controversial lyrics bordering on social and political issues. His debut album, Zire Hamkaf, was released in 2011.

Some of Amir’s fan-favourite singles include Sheytan, Fereshteh, Sahm, Boht, Cosmos, and Behesht, all delivered with a blend of pop, rap and R&B.
Others include “Bezar Too Hale Khodam Basham,” “Ye Chizi Begoo,” and “Madar.”
Amir has also collaborated with a few Iranian artists and produced music videos that garnered millions of views on YouTube. In 2021, he made history by having the most comments on YouTube with 19 million words.
The heavily tattooed rapper has so far released 26 albums under his name “Tataloo”.
