Television personality, Amber Portwood is a convicted criminal who has been charged with several crimes and has quite a damning criminal record. She was first arrested in 2010 for felony domestic battery and child neglect. She was arrested because her first child, Leah was present when the incident took place.

She was accused of abusing her first partner Gary Shirley during their relationship.

“According to police documents, on August 14, 2009, Portwood shoved Shirley against a wall, slapped him on the face, and choked him. The incident was witnessed by the couple’s 1-year-old child who sat in a child seat on a nearby bed.” reports said. She reportedly slapped Gary Shirley more than three times and shoved him against the wall several times.
She was sentenced to 906 days and faced jail time which was reportedly supposed to last for five years. Several sources also indicate that she was abusive towards her previous partner, Andrew Glennon.
