Alun Wyn Jones will not play in the Six Nations after suffering a shoulder injury in the Autumn Internationals against New Zealand.

Alun Jones Jones hurt the same shoulder that initially ruled him out of the British and Irish Lions tour last summer, though there was no sudden revival to save the day on this occasion.

Wales head coach Wayne Pivac made a statement on Alun Wyn Jones’ injury in November 2021, but has not spoken about it since.
Wayne Pivac said;

“I don’t think he’ll be available for the Six Nations.
“That leadership is really important. The essence is on others to step up and take that role on.”
The great news is that Wayne Pivac added that he did not think the injury would force Alun Jones into retirement.
