American professional golfer Ally Ewing (née McDonald; born October 25, 1992) competes on the LPGA Tour. McDonald was raised in Fulton, Mississippi, after being born in Tupelo, Mississippi. She won five tournaments while playing collegiate golf at Mississippi State University.

Along with the North and South Women’s Amateurs, she also won the Mississippi State Amateur twice. She participated in the successful American teams at the 2014 Curtis Cup and the 2013 Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship.

2015 saw McDonald graduate from college and begin a career. She received a conditional LPGA Tour card for 2016 after placing T-22 at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. In 2016, she mostly competed on the Symetra Tour, where she placed second on the money list and finished second four times.

When Jamie, Ally’s father, first met Angie, he didn’t enjoy playing golf, but over time, thanks to his wife and daughter, he came to love the sport.
Due to her type 1 diabetes, Ally required ongoing observation. Her parents were by her side the entire time.
