Allie LaForce is a journalist, model, and beauty pageant winner from the United States. Allie LaForce and her husband Joseph Michael Smith have a son together.

Their son Jacob Michael was born on November 10, 2022.  The couple named Jacob after the Cleveland Guardians’ home ballpark, then known as Jacobs Field, where they first met in 2011. LaForce was a Fox 8 sports reporter, and Smith worked for the Cleveland Indians at the time.

Jacob was conceived through in-vitro fertilisation, which included preimplantation genetic testing. Allie LaForce began her first round of IVF in January 2019, before Smith’s second season with the Houston Astros. A single round, according to LaForce, costs $30,000.

In an interview with Cleveland magazine, the couple shared that they found it remarkably simple to adjust to parenthood. Jacob, according to LaForce, is an active baby who loves people, “a great eater, burper, snuggler, and best friend.”

Being at home with each other has meant everything to us.” She intends to return to work, but no date has been set.
