Allen Iverson Wife: Meet Tawanna Turner

Iverson started dating his high school sweetheart Tawanna Turner when they were 16 and married her at the Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, New Jersey.

There isn’t much information about Tawanna Turner on the internet as she loved to keep her life away from the media.

Iverson and Tawanna have five children together.

On March 2, 2010, Tawanna filed for divorce seeking custody of their children, as well as child support and alimony payment. According to Iverson, the couple were back together less than a month after the divorce was finalised in 2013.

Iverson was also the NBA Most Valuable Player of the 2000-01 season and led his team to the 2001 NBA Finals the same season. Iveron represented the United States at the 2004 Summer Olympics, winning the bronze medal.
