Alistair Maclean Darling, Baron Darling of Roulanish, PC, the distinguished British politician who served as Chancellor of the Exchequer under Prime Minister Gordon Brown from 2007 to 2010, passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 70, after bravely confronting a brief battle with cancer.
