Habba was born on March 25, 1984, in Summit, New Jersey to Chaldean-Assyrian parents who moved to the United States from Iraq in the early 1980s to avoid persecution. Saad F. Habba, her father, is a gastroenterologist.
Habba graduated from Kent Place School in 2002 and went on to Lehigh University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2005.
In 2010, she graduated from Widener University’s Commonwealth Law School with a J.D.
Between 2005 and 2007, Habba worked in the fashion sector, assisting executives at Marc Jacobs with accessory production and marketing. Despite her enjoyment of the fashion sector, she decided to attend law school for financial concerns.
