Alfred N’Diaye prefers to focus on his career while keeping his personal life away from the media. Alfred N’Diaye can also play as a centre-back and has represented France at U17, U19, U20 and U21 levels.

Alfred N’Diaye played 36 games for Wolverhampton Wanderers in all competitions and helped them win the EFL Championship title.
On 12 January 2013, Alfred N’Diaye made his Sunderland debut at the Stadium of Light. They won 3–0 against West Ham United.
On 30 January 2014, Alfred N’Diaye joined Spanish side Real Betis on loan for the remainder of the 2013–14 campaign where he appeared in 16 matches.
After Alfred N’Diaye moved on loan to Hull City for the remainder of the 2016–17 Premier League season in January 2017, he made his debut and scored the first goal in a home 2–0 victory over Liverpool.
