We reported yesterday that actor, Alexx Ekubo‘s fiancee, Fancy Acholonu, has been alleged to break off their engagement and called off their wedding, which was supposed to happen in November.

She has, however, confirmed the news today via an official statement on Instagram stating that she has indeed ended her relationship with the actor and has called off the wedding.
She said though she believes the news will “come as a shock to many people”, but she made the best decision for herself. “It is important that everyone finds their happiness and live in their truths,” she wrote.
She then added that her family and herself would want their privacy respected at this time as they deal with the unfortunate news.
Alexx and Fancy dated for five years though they kept it quiet and away from social media all that time and recently just made their relationship public after they got engaged.

The couple came public in May after Alexx proposed and they announced it, calling each other the “love of my life.” They later announced November as their wedding date and wouldn’t stop sharing on social media how they cannot wait to be Mr. and Mrs. Ekubo.
However, three months after coming public and their relationship has hit a bridge. Fancy has unfollowed Alexx on Instagram, said to have blocked him and she has also deleted their joint account, @falexxforever.
