Alexey Pajitnov, co-creator of Tetris, is a father of two sons – Peter and Dmitri.

His first son, Peter, was born in 1984, followed by Dmitri in 1989. Tragically, Dmitri lost his life in a skiing accident on Mount Rainier in 2017, leaving the family shattered.
Despite the public nature of Tetris’s success, Pajitnov and his wife, Nina, are private about their family life.
