While The Beach garnered widespread acclaim, it was merely the inception of Garland’s creative odyssey. His foray into the world of cinema saw him collaborating with acclaimed director Danny Boyle, resulting in two iconic films—28 Days Later (2002) and Sunshine (2007).
In 2010, Garland delved into the realm of video games, co-writing Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and serving as a story supervisor on DmC: Devil May Cry in 2013.
