About Alen Stajcic
Alen Stajcic is a football manager well-known for coaching various women’s soccer clubs in Australia.
Alen currently serves as head coach of the Philippines women’s national football team, and recently led the team to their first historic first World Cup win.

Alen had previously been head coach of the Australian women’s national soccer team, also known as the Matildas, from 2014 to 2019.

During his time with the Matildas, he led them to win the Tournament of Nations in 2017 and the Cup of Nations in 2019.
Alen’s managerial career began in 2008 with the New South Wales Sapphires, and later the Sydney FC (Women), Australia (Women), Central Coast Mariners, and now the Philippines (Women).
Alen had a successful playing career during his time, beginning from the early 1990s, when he played as a midfielder.
His playing career saw him play for many teams such as Mount Druitt Town, Bonnyrigg White Eagles, Bankstown City Lions, Western Sydney Passion, and Sutherland Sharks.
