Alberto Orzan, an Italian footballer who played as a defender has died.  He was born on 24 July 1931 and he died on 9 August 2022. He was 91 years.

A cause of death has not been givwn. However, considering the fact that he was well advanced in age, he most likely died of natural causes.

Prior to his death, he was the only living player from the 2nd European Cup Final.

Orzan represented the Italy national football team four times, the first time being on 11 November 1956, the occasion of a 1955–60 Central European International Cup match against Switzerland in a 1–1 away draw.

His honors as a player for Fiorentina include;

  1. Serie A: 1955–56
  2. Coppa Italia: 1960–61
  3. European Cup Winners’ Cup: 1960–61

There’s no information available online about his personal life, thus information about his family, wife and children are not yet known.  As a result, it’s not known if he left behind any wife or children.

It is also not known if he has any surviving siblings.
