English musician, bassist and founder of Status Quo Rock Band, Alan Lancaster, is dead. The famous man died in Australia on Sunday, September 26, 2020, at the age of 72 years. The death of Alan Lancaster has been found out to be associated with multiple sclerosis.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disorder in humans in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves. This disease causes substantial damages and disrupts communication between the brain and the whole body. Multiple sclerosis has no cure but can be managed by health experts.

A heartbreaking message was also released from Alan Lancaster’s wife Dayle Lancaster. She stated: “We are all heartbroken. Alan had a wonderful wit and a fabulously dry sense of humour. He was a devoted and adoring husband, father and grandfather. Family was always his focus.”

Alan Lancaster was the founding bassist of the great band, Status Quo, a member of the rock band from 1967 to 1985. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis some years ago and managed it till he lost his life. His great work will forever remain in the hearts of his fans.
