Al Strobel was an American actor best known for his recurring role as Phillip Michael Gerard, aka Mike, on David Lynch and Mark Frost’s Twin Peaks.

It is unknown whether Al Strobel had children or not. Strobel lost his left arm below the shoulder in a car accident when he was 17 years old.
He did theatrical work at the University of Oregon and co-founded the Church of the Creative while living in Oregon in the early 1970s.

Strobel appeared in a few films, including Megaville, in which he co-starred with Billy Zane, and Ricochet River, in which he co-starred with Kate Hudson.

Strobel had retired by the early 2000s, but he briefly returned to the stage in 2017 to reprise his role as Gerard in Twin Peaks: The Return.
Al Strobel died at the age of 83 on December 2, 2022. His cause of death has not been made public.
Sabrina Sutherland, producer announced Strobel’s death on Facebook Saturday, December 3 2022, writing, “I’m sorry to report that Al Strobel died last night. I cherished him.”
