Al Horford: Who is Amelia Vega’s husband?

Amelia Vega, a former Miss Universe, is married to NBA player Alfred Joel Horford Reynoso  They got married in 2003. They are the parents of three daughters and one son. Horford is the highest-paid Latin American basketball player and a five-time NBA All-Star.

Horford was drafted third overall in the 2007 NBA draught by the Atlanta Hawks on June 28, 2007. He signed his rookie scale deal with the Hawks on July 9.

Horford was the only player unanimously picked to the NBA All-Rookie First Team as a rookie in 2007–08; he was also runner-up for Rookie of the Year and named Rookie of the Month four times. Since Stacey Augmon in 1991–92, he became the first Atlanta draftee to receive first-team accolades.

He signed with the 76ers in the 2019 off-season after three seasons with the Celtics and played one season with them before being traded to the Thunder in the 2020 off-season. Horford was traded to the Celtics in exchange for Kemba Walker and a first-round pick before the 2021 season.
