Ghanaian musician, Akwaboah, has spoken out about the speculations surrounding his recent marriage to his wife, Theresa.

Amid his wedding, there were widespread speculations that Akwaboah has children with two other women and has chosen to marry a virgin instead.
These rumors sparked widespread discussions on social media.
Making his first public statement on the matter in an interview on Delay Show, the musician clarified that certain circumstances, not his own choice, influenced his decision.
“In life we give ourselves some timelines or we expect certain things to happen but they don’t go as planned. But we still move on. Growing up as a man, I wasn’t happy about having children with two separate women and leaving them to marry another. But situations happened and it’s something I cannot explain now” he said.
When Akwaboah was questioned about the possibility of maintaining his past relationships, he acknowledged that if the circumstances had been more peaceful, the outcome might have been different.
“Perhaps, if those relationships had been more peaceful, I would have remained in them,” he said.
When questioned about why he initiated intimate relationships with two women who were not virgins but chose to marry someone who is, Akwaboah replied, “They were not virgin when I met them. For my wife, I didn’t go for her because she was a virgin, I didn’t even know until I told her I wanted to be with her.”
