Adan Canto is a Mexican-American actor known for playing the role of Sunspot in the superhero film X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Born in Mexico, in 1981, Canto made his film debut in 2010, starring as Manuel in the Mexican film Te Presento a Laura.
Canto proceeded to the American TV scene and appeared as Paul Torres on the Fox drama series The Following, and as AJ Menendez in the ABC prime-time series Blood & Oil.
He also starred in Netflix drama series Narcos, and many others such as Designated Survivor, Before Tomorrow, 2 Hearts, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Mixology, Hysteria, The Curse of the Fuentes Women, Second Chance, Bruised, and The Catch.
